About Me.

I was born to teach. I loved every moment I spent in the classroom, and during my ten-year career in education I was able to reach countless students. I've taught in the general education setting as well as serving special education classrooms for grades PreK-12th. I also coordinated and directed Individual Education Plan (IEP) compliance as the Exceptional Student Education Coordinator and Local Education Agency (LEA) for the schools where I taught.

I currently homeschool my high school children and oversee their dual enrollment in college. I am a certified educator in North Carolina with a Master's Degree in Special Education and an Autism Spectrum Disorder Endorsement. I was recognized as a High Impact Teacher for three consecutive years and I was also nominated as and awarded the Teacher of the Year for my district. I have so much experience working with children as a teacher and as a tutor. I also have a wealth of knowledge to assist parents in planning for their children's educational needs, whether it be tutoring, homeschooling, test preparation, or dual enrollment in preparation for college.
